ANSR-133 : CopaFest 2021 flight : 30 October 2021

 The Saturday Launch Day prediction for the ANSR-133 balloon flight with a 120% fill is for a flight of 38 km (23.5 miles) on a bearing of 085º, landing at 33° 3.406'N, 111° 38.760'W, or 13 km (8 miles) WNW of Coolidge, Arizona.  Burst should occur after 74 minutes with a total flight time of 145 minutes. The assumptions for this prediction are a 2000 gram balloon, payload mass of 9.19 kg (20.25 lbs), neck lift of 11.02 kg (24.30 lbs), an ascent rate of 5.8 m/sec (1133 fpm), a burst altitude of 26,128 meters (85,700 feet), descent rate at landing of 7.0 m/sec (1377 fpm) and using Habhub.com.  Google Earth KML and JPG files are attached. 

 The launch of ANSR-133 is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 9:00 AM MST (1600 UT), from Harrah’s Ak-Chin Resort in Maricopa, AZ (33° 1.482'N, 112° 2.918'W).  The actual launch site will be determined as we get closer to launch day.

 The Weather Underground forecast for Maricopa, AZ for Saturday, October 30, is for: Sunny. High 89F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph.  Weather at launch time is forecast to be sunny with a temperature of 66F and winds SE at 3 mph.
